Loch Achray Hotel 5 Day New Year Break
First Day
Arrive at the Loch Achray Hotel in time for dinner.

30th December
Beyond the magnificent Dukes Pass lies the charming village of Aberfoyle on the banks of the River Forth, in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Aberfoyle is surrounded by glistening Lochs and wild little glens which only add to the tranquillity and beauty of the Trossachs. Explore this village before returning to Loch Achray Hotel for lunch and an afternoon of games or relaxation. In the evening enjoy a complimentary sherry reception followed by dinner and entertainment.

31st December, Hogmanay
Explore the beautiful Royal Burgh of Stirling where for centuries monarchs ruled from its strategic castle and where merchants operated below castle rock. Stirling is Scotland’s heritage capital, and the Wars of Independence were fought and won here. The city has been carefully preserved and the history of Scotland lives on through the architecture and local landmarks. The castle sits majestically above the busy city and its regal splendour remains unchanged. The National Wallace Monument stands at 220ft and overlooks the scene of one of Scotland’s most famous battle sites, The Battle of Stirling Bridge, which was led by the famous William Wallace. Return to Loch Achray where dinner and entertainment will be held in the evening as you see in the bells and celebrate the start of the new year!

1st January, New Year's Day
Celebrate the new year with brunch followed by a varied programme of entertainment. Enjoy a day of leisure to take a local stroll or relax by our open fires before afternoon tea is served. In the evening a candelit dinner will be served followed by entertainment to round off your Scottish Hogmanay.
