The breath-taking scenery of Lochaber surrounds your historic hotel from which you will take a trip on the only loch that follows the Great Glenn Fault, Loch Linnhe. This cruise is a unique opportunity to view Scotland’s marine life, glimpse the highest peak in Britain and then explore the outdoor ‘capital’ of Scotland, Fort William.
Jacobite Steam Train
The Jacobite Steam Train is described as the greatest railway journey in the world and explores some of the best landscapes in the Scottish Highlands. The trip begins near Ben Nevis, Great Britain’s highest mountain, before heading west to Arisaig. The Jacobite line then passes close by the deepest freshwater Loch in Britain, Loch Morar, and the shortest river in Britain, River Morar. Finally, the train passes alongside Loch Nevis, the deepest seawater Loch in Europe.
